The main fountains of the city.
If you're in Saransk you should see the fountains of the city. The main fountain is "The Star of Mordovia". It is one of the most complex and high light and music fountain in Russia.It decorates "M illennium Square" near the new Universal hall in the center of Saransk. The height of the fountain jets can reach 40 meters. It is amazing performance of a water, light and music:
Ok, if you go to the Opera and Ballet Theater, you will see another light and music fountain and can enjoy excellent view of fountain and theater at night:

You will see several fountains on river "Saranka" if you walk along the embank:
The fountains are located near the monument "Forever with Russia" ( it means the union of Mordovian and Russian peoples):
